Choose Block Sender & Remove to block that exact sender in CalendarGuardian and remove this event in one action. Remove Only leaves sender rules unchanged. For a false positive, approve that invitation once or trust the sender. Approving keeps the event.
Removed events can be restored as calendar copies. Restoring does not rejoin the original meeting or unblock a sender.

Risk score is 0–100. 0–54 means no or weak warning signals and is not a guarantee of safety; 55–89 needs review; 90–100 is high risk. A user-confirmed spam report is recorded as 100. Open a result to see the exact signals. This is a read-only log. Make decisions in Calendar review.
Continuous server protection
Checking protection state…
When on, CalendarGuardian monitors new and changed Microsoft and Google invitations continuously and runs a scheduled recovery scan in case a provider notification is missed. Use Scan for an immediate check of all connected calendars and authorized mailboxes.
Daily is the default recovery check. New-event monitoring continues between scans while protection is on. Shorter intervals repeat more work and use more provider requests. Email scanning runs separately daily (every 24 hours). Your devices can be switched off.

Checking which calendar providers can be added…
One account connection protects every calendar in that provider account that you are allowed to edit. Adding another account records your authorization under the current Terms and Privacy Policy.

Email setup Optional
Separate from calendar protection. Check meeting-request emails and ICS attachments even when no event appears on your calendar.
This secure website completes email setup for the mobile app. Choose your mailbox and folders, then give separate permission. After authorization, tap Return to CalendarGuardian. Scanning continues on the server with the app closed. Connecting your CalendarGuardian account alone never enables email scanning.
Apple Mail and Outlook are email apps. Choose the provider holding your mailbox, even if you read it in another app. Other email providers are not connected by this setup.
Checking availability…
Your mailbox can be different from your calendar or sign-in account. Microsoft and Gmail let you choose a mailbox on their permission screen. Yahoo and iCloud connect the mailbox you enter below. One mailbox can be connected per account profile. Choose Inbox and/or Junk/Spam for the preceding 30 days. Scanning never sends replies, inserts events or marks mail as read. Optional invitation cleanup moves invitation emails matching your saved block rules to Trash or Deleted Items after separate permission. A flagged result alone does not create a block or authorize removal.
Use a generated app-specific password, never your usual password.
Use a provider-generated app-specific password, not your normal account password. This credential permits broader mailbox access, including sending; CalendarGuardian uses it for invitation scans and, only with separate permission, invitation cleanup. It is encrypted on the server and removed when you turn scanning off.

Checks run on the server daily (every 24 hours) while enabled, even with the app closed. Authorization is stored encrypted. Turn off at any time to remove it and the email scan findings. Calendar permissions remain separate.
Automatic email scans run daily. New invitations can remain until the next scan, or longer if the service is busy. Use Scan now for an earlier check. Blocking or changing settings can also request a scan.
Changing the window stops the current scan. Automatic scans then check new mail with a one-day overlap. No all-history scans.
Checks run on the server daily (every 24 hours). Turn off to remove stored mailbox authorization and scan findings. Your calendar protection stays separate.
Allowed and blocked lists
Add or remove senders and domains manually. Allowed entries reduce false positives but do not override explicit blocks. Blocked entries cause future matching invitations to be treated as high risk and removed automatically. Domain blocks apply broadly, so use them carefully.
Automatic removal
Calendar events only. Off by default. When on, events meeting the risk threshold are removed automatically; lower-scoring flagged events stay for review. This does not automatically block their senders or move invitation emails. Saved blocks apply separately.

Disconnect removes authorization for the account shown above but retains its settings/history. Delete all data disconnects every linked calendar account and permanently deletes the shared CalendarGuardian profile, settings, rules, review items, detections, and action history. Neither action deletes a Microsoft or Google account.
